Research

I have decided that I need to do some work on this singledom that is haunting me. Not research on the patheticness of my loneliness - that I know - but on how others have found their soul mates. There has to be something that I can do, rather than just sitting waiting for something to happen. I know that I am not the only one that is in this position, but someone has to have gotten out of it.

The challenge is that on www.amazon.ca there are officially 25,313 books under the heading "Relationships". How is that going to help me? The top selling book in the category is
The Game: Penetrating the Secret Society of Pickup Artists , God help me this is worse than I thought.

Ohhhh wait, a sub category called "dating" only 471 books in that category. Well Miss Stephanie don't count your chickens before they hatch. The top selling book is titled
The Mystery Method: The Foolproof Way to Get Any Woman You Want Into Bed and the second one is Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl- A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a Relationship. Oy Vey. this is very very scary.

So if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. I wonder why this is so hard and I am so whiney lately about it. Maybe I need to re-introduce my buys of the day, just so that I can be positive.

I read "The Game", it's horrible. So is Mystery's book - they're for loser nerd guys who don't mind turning a woman in to a piece of meat for sex. ugh.

I don't think one can "plan" to meet their soulmate... you can plan to increase your chances though, yes definitely.

The best man-magnet? Self confidence and poise. The more you act like you don't need a man, the more they are attracted to you - strange, but true.

I wonder which book you'll end up getting :-)
