I have found IT!!! And I love IT!!! It is gorgeous. Canada has for a number of years, close to 50 years I think, a fantastic leather good company called Roots. They make beautiful shoes and bags and good standard t-shirts and sweats. They were a real staple for me in my teens and it has been a while since I have been seriously shopping in there store. Anyway, about a month ago I saw this "
Hampton Tote" in black and loved it. I love that it is so large and will fit in magazines, water bottles, camera, passport etc. I also am absolutely head over heals with the fact that the hardware is gold, including the feet on the bottom. I also love the strap that is adjustable. It can fit snugly under the arm of long and slung over the body. It is so fab and all that for $300. I can't believe that I procrastinated so long on buying it. It is perfect.
